These are large freshwater pearls in a natural mauve pink color. These pearls are known as Edison pearls, characterized by their large size and luster, comparable to the well-known South Sea pearls. Their shape is semi-round, close to perfectly round. The subtle, grayish pink color gives these pearls an elegant touch.
As each pearl has small protrusions or indentations, we are offering them at a discounted price. We will set the pearl with the side having fewer indentations facing forward. Please only place an order if you are agreeable to this.

Pearl
In ancient Rome, pearls were said to be "symbols of wealth," and upper-class women adorned themselves with them. They were also used in rituals and as talismans, as they were believed to possess the power to ward off evil spirits and banish malevolent forces. It is said that wearing pearls when experiencing a streak of bad luck or when things aren't going well can break the negative chain through their strong protective power.
Pearls have long been used as a secret elixir to protect women's beauty, and it is said that two of the world's three most beautiful women, Yang Guifei and Cleopatra, powdered and consumed pearls to maintain their beauty. Furthermore, because they grow encased in a mother-of-pearl shell, they are also symbols of motherhood and femininity, believed to provide deep comfort and tranquility, enhance maternal instincts, and are widely known as charms for pregnancy and safe childbirth.
