This service allows you to replace the stones in your existing earring findings with the stones you ordered.
Since you provide your own earring findings, you can purchase them at a more reasonable price than regular earrings.
Hook-type earrings, with the exception of some products, are discounted by 40%.
Please use this service if you want to replace only the stones, for example, if "a stone has broken" or "you've grown tired of your current earrings."
This service was created with the desire to allow you to enjoy a wider variety of natural stone earrings more casually.

This is a special service offered with gratitude to our repeat customers. Furthermore, by having customers provide their own earring findings, we were able to achieve the most reasonable pricing possible. If you have any unused earrings, please feel free to use this service.

Q. Is this available for a first-time purchase?

We apologize, but this offer is only available to returning customers who have previously purchased earrings from us.

Q. Can I replace the earrings with ones that are not IDIOS products?

We apologize, but this offer is only valid for earrings purchased from the IDIOS online store.

Q. I purchased IDIOS earrings from a store other than the IDIOS online store. Can I still use your services?

We apologize, but as the number of items purchased by customers is counted by the online store system, earrings purchased outside of the IDIOS online store are not eligible for this service.

Q. Are there any charges in addition to the product price?

There are none. The prices for natural stones, wire, labor, shipping, and packaging materials are all included.

Q. Which products are eligible?

This service applies only to hook earrings (excluding some products). Eligible products are marked "Stone Replacement Service Eligible" on their product pages. You can also view them on the Stone Replacement Service Eligible Items page.

Q. Do one-of-a-kind items qualify?

One-of-a-kind items are excluded.

Q. Can the earrings be replaced with titanium post earrings, non-pierced earrings, or white gold earrings?

It is interchangeable. All interchangeable parts of hook earrings are eligible.

Q. Can I request multiple earring changes for a single order?

Yes, it is possible.

Q. What will happen to the original stone?

We will return it along with the delivered item.

Q. The stone has come off the earring I want to send, and only the post remains.

Sending only the earring findings is perfectly fine.

Q. I'd like to switch back to the previous stone that was replaced earlier. Is that possible?

Yes, it is possible. Please contact us using the inquiry form. Please note that additional charges will apply.

Q. I selected a paid shipping method when purchasing a product. What happens next?

When we deliver the replacement product, we will use the shipping method you selected. Please note that the delivery and return of the shipping kit will be by standard mail only.

Q. What happens if my earrings are lost or damaged during shipping to IDIOS using the shipping kit?

We will refund the full product price. Please note that we are unable to compensate or guarantee for damaged or lost items (unless you have arranged for a shipping method with insurance yourself).

Q. When sending earrings, I'd like to use a shipping method with insurance and tracking instead of regular mail. Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. However, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs and the preparation of packing materials due to the change in shipping method. You do not need to contact us about changes to the shipping method. Please discard any unused shipping kits.

Q. What happens if I send you earrings purchased at another store?

The transaction has been canceled. We will return the item you sent and refund the product amount minus a 1,300 yen handling fee. For products under 1,300 yen, no refund will be issued even if you have paid for shipping.

Q. I accidentally sent the wrong earrings. Can you send the correct ones again?

If the replacement process has not yet been completed, it is possible. Please notify us via the inquiry form. Please note that we do not resend shipping kits, so you will be responsible for preparing the shipment and covering the shipping costs yourself. Please be aware that earrings sent incorrectly will be returned along with the completed replacement item. If the replacement has already been completed or the shipment is ready, the transaction will be canceled. We will return the item you sent and refund the product amount minus a 1,300 yen handling fee. For products under 1,300 yen, please note that no refund will be issued, even if you have paid for shipping.

Q. Can you send it to the recipient's address as a gift?

We apologize, but we cannot deliver to an address different from the purchaser's. For hygiene reasons, this service is provided on the premise that the product will be used by the customer themselves. Please be aware that it cannot be used as a gift.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel, please contact us via inquiry. If the shipping kit has not yet been sent by us, we will refund the full product price.
If the shipping kit has already been sent, we will refund the product price minus a 1,300 yen handling fee. Please note that for products priced at 1,300 yen or less, no refund will be issued even if you have paid for shipping.

※ If you cancel a transaction for this service, we will refund the product price minus a 1,300 yen handling fee. For products priced at 1,300 yen or less, no refund will be issued, even if you have paid for shipping. Please note in advance that transactions will be canceled in the following cases:
・If you request a cancellation after we have sent you the shipping kit.
・If you send earrings purchased from another store or outside the IDIOS online store to IDIOS.
・If you request a change to the earring findings after the stone replacement or shipping preparations have been completed.
・If more than 5 days have significantly passed the shipping deadline to us.
・If 2 weeks have passed since the shipping kit was sent, and we have not received communication or your earring findings.

※ If your earring findings are damaged or lost during delivery to us, we will refund the full product price. Please note that we will not compensate or guarantee your damaged or lost items. (Excluding cases where you arrange for a delivery method with insurance yourself.)

※ For hygiene reasons, this service is intended for your personal use. It cannot be used as a gift.
