Terms of Use
IDIOS (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") establishes the terms of use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") for the website it operates (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") as follows. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to the contents of these Terms.
Chapter 1 General Provisions

Chapter 2 Membership
Article 3 Membership
"Member" refers to an individual who has agreed to these Terms, applied for membership registration in accordance with the procedures prescribed by us, and whose application has been approved by us.
Article 4 Membership Registration
Applicants for membership shall apply for membership registration through the membership registration page of this service in accordance with the method specified by us. We will approve the user's membership registration application by sending a registration completion email. We may not approve a registration application if any of the following items apply:
- If it is discovered that the applicant for membership has previously violated these terms and conditions and has been subject to disciplinary action such as membership cancellation.
- If the applicant's application contains false information.
- In other cases where we determine that it is inappropriate to approve the registration application.
Membership registration is limited to those with an address in Japan. The usage agreement between us and the member based on these terms and conditions shall remain valid between us and the member from the date of completion of registration until the date the member's registration is canceled. Please note that by registering as a member, you are deemed to have guaranteed to us that you are 20 years of age or older, or that if you are under 20 years of age, you have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian for the sales contract.
Article 5 Notification of Changes
Members shall promptly notify us of any changes to their address, name, telephone number, credit card number, or any other registered information, using the method we separately instruct.
Article 6 Suspension of Service Use, Cancellation of Membership Registration
The Company may, without prior notice to the member, suspend the member's use of the Service or delete the member's registration if any of the following apply:
- If it is discovered that the member has previously been subject to disciplinary action, such as the deletion of their membership registration, due to a violation of these Terms.
- If there is a delay in the performance of payment obligations for fees related to the Service, or any other non-performance.
- If the member has engaged in any of the acts prohibited in Article 10 (Prohibited Acts).
- If the member has otherwise violated these Terms.
Article 7 Management of User IDs and Passwords
- Members are responsible for managing the email address and password they have set up.
- Members shall not transfer, lend, or disclose their user ID and password to any third party.
- Members shall be solely responsible for any damage caused by insufficient management of their user ID and password, errors in use, or use by a third party.
- If a Member discovers that their user ID and password have been used fraudulently by a third party, they shall immediately notify us.
- Users acknowledge the risks of leakage, etc., associated with payment methods such as transmitting credit card numbers when using this service, and shall do so at their own responsibility.
Article 8 Use of User Information
We respect the personal information provided by our customers and handle it appropriately based on our "Privacy Policy." For details, please refer to our separate "Privacy Policy."

Users may utilize the various services provided by this service. Please note that some services may not be available to non-members.
Article 10 Prohibited Acts
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:
- Submitting false registration information when using the service
- Acts that interfere with the operation of this service or are likely to cause hindrance to this service
- Using a credit card illegally to use this service
- Using user IDs and passwords illegally
- Acts that cause or are likely to cause nuisance, disadvantage, or damage to other users, third parties, or our company
- Acts that infringe or are likely to infringe the copyrights, privacy, or other rights of other users, third parties, or us
- Acts that violate public order and morals or other laws and regulations, or acts that are likely to do so
- Using this service for commercial purposes
- Sending unsolicited advertising, promotional, or solicitation emails to other members, or sending emails that are likely to do so
- Acts that obstruct email reception by other members, or requesting chain email forwarding, or forwarding emails in response to such requests
- Accessing the equipment or service equipment of other members without authorization and interfering with its use or operation, or acts that are likely to do so
- Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of our emails or website content
- Other acts that we deem inappropriate
Violating prohibited acts is not merely a breach of etiquette, but also a violation of the Penal Code, Unauthorized Computer Access Act, Trademark Act, Copyright Act, and provisions of civil and commercial law, and will result in criminal penalties and civil liability for damages.
Article 11 Copyright
- Copyrights, trademark rights, other intellectual property rights, and portrait rights related to this service belong to us and other original authors.
- If a user discovers any prohibited acts, such as unauthorized reproduction, unauthorized reprinting, or other unauthorized secondary use without the permission of the right holder, we may take legal action.
- In the unlikely event that a dispute arises between the user and the right holder, the user shall resolve it at their own responsibility and expense, and shall not cause any inconvenience or damage to us.
Chapter 4: Purchasing Products
Article 12 Purchase of Products
Users can purchase products or services (hereinafter referred to as "products, etc.") from us through this service.
Users who wish to purchase products, etc. shall apply for the purchase of products or the use of services in accordance with the method specified by us.
A sales contract for the relevant products, etc. shall be concluded between the user and us at the time we send an email to the user indicating our acceptance of the application mentioned in the preceding paragraph. Delivery of products, etc. through this service is limited to Japan.
Article 13 Termination of Contract
We may terminate this agreement if any of the following apply:
- The user violates these terms and conditions.
- The user's designated credit card company reports a failure in credit authorization.
- Circumstances are discovered indicating that the user's ability to pay has become questionable.
- The product is out of stock and cannot be delivered promptly.
- The product cannot be delivered due to an unknown address or prolonged absence.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if there is any fraudulent or inappropriate conduct regarding the use of this service, we may cancel or terminate the sales agreement or take other appropriate measures.
Article 14 Payment Method
The total payment amount for products, etc., will be the sum of the product purchase price including consumption tax, shipping fees, and handling fees. Payments for products purchased through this service shall be made using a credit card registered in the user's name or by other payment methods separately approved by us. In the case of credit card payments, the user shall comply with the terms separately agreed upon between the user and the card company. Should any dispute arise between the user and the credit card company, etc., it shall be resolved between the parties concerned, and we shall bear no responsibility whatsoever.
Article 15 Returns and Exchanges
Products cannot be returned or exchanged except in cases of damage during shipping, product defects, incorrect products, or other cases recognized by us. Furthermore, returns of such products and exchanges of products with defects, or cancellations if exchanges are not possible, can only be made if the user returns the product within the period specified by us (within 7 days) after receiving it. Users must make the returns mentioned in the preceding paragraph according to the method separately specified by us.
Article 16: Grounds for Exclusion from Product Returns and Exchanges
The Company reserves the right to refuse a customer's request for product return or exchange in the following cases:
- If the Company is not contacted by the customer within 7 days of product handover or delivery.
- If the reason for the return or exchange is due to customer convenience, such as a difference in image from the product, an incorrect purchase, or an error in specifications.
- If the product is damaged or scratched after opening due to reasons attributable to the customer.
- If the reason is due to the inherent characteristics of the product.
- If the reason is based on the presence or absence of the product's effects or benefits.
- If the product has been used.
- In any other case that the Company does not recognize as eligible for return, exchange, or repair warranty.
Chapter 5 Operation of the Service
Article 17 Management of Information
We may use comments and other information posted by users after obtaining their consent for our use, without prior notice to the user, if we deem it usable within this service. We may also delete such information without prior notice to the user if it falls under any of the following items:
- If the information is clearly recognized as infringing our or a third party's copyrights or other rights, or clearly damaging our or a third party's honor or credibility.
- If we receive a warning from a third party that the information infringes that third party's copyrights or other rights, or damages that third party's honor or credibility.
- If it is clearly recognized as violating Japanese law or applicable foreign law.
- If we receive an order from a public agency to delete it.
Article 18 Maintenance of the Service
In order to maintain optimal operating conditions for this service, we may, without prior notice to users, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service in any of the following cases:
- In the event of scheduled or emergency system maintenance.
- When system operation becomes difficult due to natural disasters such as fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, or heavy snowfall.
- When system operation becomes difficult due to social unrest such as war, civil war, terrorism, riots, or disturbances.
- When system operation becomes difficult due to power outages, interference by third parties, or other similar causes.
- In any other case where we deem it unavoidable to stop the system.
Article 19 Other Disclaimers
- If we are obliged to notify the user, we shall fulfill that obligation by sending a notification to the email address registered by the user in advance, and for product delivery, by delivering the product to the shipping address specified by the user at the time of product purchase.
- Regardless of the legal cause of action, we shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disadvantages related to the use of this service and products sold through this service in any case, other than those specified in the preceding article.
- We shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever incurred by the user due to their inability to use this service.
- We shall be exempted from liability by processing administrative matters in accordance with the user's registration details.
- Regardless of the legal cause of action, we shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disadvantages incurred in connection with the use of this service in any case.
- If a user causes damage or other harm to another user or a third party by using this service, the user shall resolve the issue at their own responsibility and expense, and shall not cause any trouble to us.
- If we need to change a user's password, we shall be exempted from liability by verifying the user's identity using our designated method.
- The user shall bear the costs for the installation of necessary computer and communication equipment for using this service, telephone charges, LAN usage fees, application fees, and other charges incurred for using this service.
Article 20. Miscellaneous
Communication between us and users will, in principle, be via email. Should any issues arise regarding the use of this service that cannot be resolved through these terms of use or our guidance, both parties shall discuss the matter in good faith to resolve it.
Should litigation become necessary regarding the use of this service, the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall be the agreed exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance.
If a user incurs liability for damages due to non-payment of the purchase price or other breaches of these terms, and we engage a lawyer for the collection of said damages, the user shall also bear the legal fees based on the attorney fee regulations.
These terms apply to all users of this service, including members, from June 1, 2018.
