These are simple earrings made of small freshwater pearls. Freshwater pearls are cultivated pearls produced by freshwater bivalves called Hyriopsis schlegelii. They are gray in color with a beautiful luster. Due to their small size, they have a modest yet elegant impression. The gray color is dyed. Gray pearls come in two sizes: M and S. Please refer to the last photo for differences in size and color. This page is for the S size.
Pearl
In ancient Rome, pearls were said to be a "symbol of wealth," and women of the upper class eagerly wore them. They were also used in rituals and as amulets, as they were believed to have the power to ward off evil spirits and banish malevolent entities. It is said that if you wear them when you are experiencing a streak of bad luck or things aren't going well, their powerful protective energy can break the chain of negativity.
Pearls have long been used as a secret elixir to preserve women's beauty. It is said that Yang Guifei and Cleopatra, two of the world's three great beauties, consumed powdered pearls to maintain their beauty. Furthermore, because pearls grow encased in their mother-of-pearl, they symbolize motherhood and femininity. They are believed to provide deep comfort and tranquility, enhance maternal instincts, and are widely known as talismans for pregnancy and safe childbirth.
