This is a natural stone that contains a red sparkle within a transparent quartz. The sparkling red inclusions are crystals of lepidocrocite, which is mainly composed of iron. They have a scale- or needle-like shape and are known in Japanese as "Rintetsu-kō" (scaly iron ore).
