Herkimer Quartz Necklace - C

This is a Herkimer-style quartz from Pakistan. It is very similar to Herkimer diamonds, but it is a different natural stone. "Herkimer diamond" is a name only given to those found in the Herkimer region of America, but quartz with a similar shape and brilliance is given names such as "Herkimer-style."
This popular natural stone has a raw, double-terminated shape. It has a transparency that allows the background to show through. This particular stone clearly shows horizontal lines, called growth lines, that occur during its growth.
The necklace is made of K14GF (gold-filled) material. This material consists of 14K gold bonded to a copper alloy core, where 14K gold makes up 1/20 or more of the total weight. Unlike plating, it won't wear off, allowing you to enjoy the luster of gold. Compared to K10 material, it has a slightly more yellowish hue.
The necklace chain can be changed to a K10 ball chain. If you wish to do so, please select it from "Select Necklace Chain."
