This is a Herkimer-style quartz from Pakistan. While very similar to Herkimer diamonds, it is a different natural stone. "Herkimer diamond" is a name exclusively given to stones found in the Herkimer region of the USA, but quartz with a similar shape and luster is referred to as "Herkimer-style."
This popular natural stone has a raw, double-terminated shape. It has a transparency that allows the background to show through slightly, and its size gives it a strong presence. This particular stone has black inclusions and uneven holes resulting from being separated from the matrix. Please be aware of this before purchasing.
